12 Angry Jurors - directed by Ethan Mercer. Performed 6th, 7th and 8th March, 2026.
Making his directorial debut, Ethan Mercer brought to life the magnificent stage play from the movie, "12 Angry Men", on March 6th - 8th, 2026. Originally a television play broadcast in 1954, written by Reginald Rose, "12 Angry Men" has seen several different stage adaptations. "12 Angry Jurors" is the stage adaption written by Sherman L Sergel (1955) and explores the layered complexities of everyday people trying to reach a unanimous decision with what initially appears to be an open and shut case. One juror dares to question the evidence and offers a different possibility than that which was explored in the trial. What ensues is a thought provoking journey through the differeing lenses of world views - all whilst a life hangs on the line for a 19-year-old accused of murder.
Performed by: Beth Baillie, Bill Baillie, Craig Brealey, Terry Daw, Alaisha Donohue, Robert Donohue, Rachel Goodenough, Deb Hunt, Anna Loechel, John MacLeod, Ethan Mercer, Matilda Savage, Jo Severino, Lucy Skillen, Nicholas Stamp, Veronique Whitmore.
